A Dating & Marriage Journal for Self-Reflection and Empowerment
LOVE WITH YOUR EYES OPEN.
Keeping Me Safe is a guided relationship-awareness and self-reflection journal created to help women recognize patterns, identify red flags, evaluate trust, clarify their standards and boundaries, and make relationship decisions with greater clarity, self-awareness, and wisdom.
Because your heart deserves wisdom, too.

Foreword by Sandra L. Brown, M.A. · Founder of The Institute for Relational Harm Reduction · Author of How to Spot a Dangerous Man Before You Get Involved
WHEN YOUR HEART IS INVOLVED, SEEING CLEARLY CAN BECOME HARDER.
Attraction, attachment, hope, chemistry, loneliness, unresolved emotional wounds, and the desire for a relationship to work can sometimes influence how we interpret what is happening in front of us.
Important behaviors can be rationalized. Patterns can be dismissed as isolated incidents. Words can receive more weight than behavior. Boundaries can gradually shift. Things that initially felt uncomfortable can begin to feel normal.
Keeping Me Safe gives a woman a private place to slow down, write down what she is actually observing and experiencing, and notice what the accumulated pattern may be revealing.
YOUR HEART DESERVES WISDOM, TOO.
Keeping Me Safe brings observation, reflection, and intentional questioning into the relationship experience so that a woman has a place to record not only how she feels, but what she is actually seeing.
It encourages her to pay attention to patterns over time: what a person says, what he does, whether his words and actions match, how he responds to boundaries, how he handles disagreement, how he treats other people, whether empathy is present, how quickly the relationship is progressing, how he responds to “no,” and whether she feels emotionally safe within the relationship.
Rather than asking a woman to make an immediate positive or negative judgment about someone, Keeping Me Safe encourages her to slow down, observe, document, reflect, and allow patterns and evidence over time to inform her decisions.
The goal is not fear.
The goal is clarity.
The goal is to help a woman keep her heart AND her wisdom present as she decides what — and who — belongs in her life.
SEE MORE CLEARLY.
CHOOSE MORE WISELY.
STAY CONNECTED TO YOURSELF.
Keeping Me Safe is designed to help a woman become better equipped to see the person and the relationship in front of her clearly.
Through observation, written reflection, and attention to patterns over time, she can become more aware of what she is experiencing — not only what she hopes the relationship will become.
She can begin to recognize patterns and warning signs, understand what trustworthy and healthy behavior looks like, clarify her own standards and boundaries, and remain connected to herself while making important relationship decisions.
The goal is not to remove emotion from love. It is to allow the heart and wisdom to work together.
LOVE WITHOUT ABANDONING YOUR DISCERNMENT.
INSIDE KEEPING ME SAFE
MORE THAN QUESTIONS.
A FRAMEWORK FOR SEEING MORE CLEARLY.
Keeping Me Safe combines guided self-reflection, written observation, relationship education, and practical tools to help a woman pay closer attention to herself, the person she is with, and the patterns developing within the relationship.
Throughout the journal, she is invited to examine her own relationship patterns, clarify what she requires in a healthy relationship, evaluate trust and alignment, recognize warning signs, and document what she is actually experiencing over time.

ABOUT CAMILLE McKENZIE
What might have helped me see sooner what I could not clearly see while I was living through it?
After the devastating end of two significant relationships, Camille McKenzie turned to journaling as part of her journey back to herself. Writing gave her something memory and emotion alone could not always provide: a record. Experiences that could be minimized, forgotten, rationalized, or viewed as isolated moments became easier to examine when they were written down and considered together over time.
That realization became the foundation for Keeping Me Safe.
Camille began thinking about what she wished she had possessed while making some of the most consequential relationship decisions of her life: a structured place to record what she was observing, notice emerging patterns, evaluate trust, clarify her standards and boundaries, and compare a person's words with their behavior over time.
She began applying this method of written observation and reflection more intentionally in her own life and saw how powerful it could be. Keeping Me Safe grew from a desire to place those tools into the hands of other women—to help them remain connected to themselves and better equipped to recognize what their relationships may be showing them before relational harm deepens.
Camille is an author, inventor, publisher, coach, and speaker whose body of work explores relationships, self-trust, healing, human behavior, and rebuilding after difficult life experiences. Through her books, resources, and developing frameworks, she turns lived experience, observation, and pattern recognition into practical tools designed to help women see more clearly and make more informed decisions for their lives.
Her goal is not to tell women whom to love. It is to help women become better equipped to see clearly enough to make that decision for themselves.
